How Booking Works
Three steps, and our team guides you through each one.
STEP 1
Message Us
Tell us your child’s age, any Mandarin they already know, and your preferred days and times (Philippine time). We’ll confirm a slot that fits.
STEP 2
Register Your Child
Fill in the short registration form so we have your child’s details and the email address for the class link.
STEP 3
Pay and Join
Pay ₱599 by card on our trial class page, or by GCash, Maya, bank transfer or QRPh. Your class link arrives by email.
What to Expect
- A live online group class of 45 to 60 minutes with a Little Owls teacher, alongside classmates matched to your child’s age and level.
- The class meeting link by email, sent to the address on your registration form.
- A short guide for joining, which helps with younger learners, plus anything to prepare beforehand.
- Automatic reminders one day before and one hour before the class.
- If your child hasn’t joined by the start time, our team will message you to check in.
- No obligation to enroll afterward. If your child enjoys it, we’ll walk you through the class options.
Living outside the Philippines? We teach families in several time zones and will look for a slot that works for yours.
Who Will Teach Your Child
Our teachers are native and near-native Mandarin speakers based in China. Every teacher on our team meets the same standard:
- At least 3 years of experience teaching kids
- A teaching degree, and for teachers who aren’t native speakers, HSK 5 certification or higher
- Fluent English, so they can explain things clearly to Filipino kids
- Trained on our own curriculum, with ongoing training and regular quality checks on their classes
With several teachers on the team, we can usually find a class time that fits your family, and our support team handles scheduling and answers your messages.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need to know any Mandarin?
No. Many of our students start with zero Mandarin. We place your child in a group that matches their age and level.
Is the trial one-on-one?
No. The trial is a group class, the same format as our regular group classes. If you’re interested in 1-on-1 tutoring, message us and we’ll tell you how it works.
Is the ₱599 deducted if we enroll?
No. The trial fee is separate and isn’t credited toward a program. It covers a full live class with a teacher.
What do we need for the class?
A laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection and a quiet spot. For younger kids, it helps to have a parent or guardian nearby.
